A lovely, quiet retreat on the edge of Corfton, right on the doorstep of brilliant walking and cycling with rural views towards the Brown Clee Hills. Easily accessible, we’re only 8 miles away from the historic and beautiful market town of Ludlow, famous for its festivals, food markets and restaurants!
Hi there,
If you’re looking for somewhere that’s both quiet and special, we’ve renovated and furnished this 2 bedroom barn to the same high specifications as our own home. We installed an electric charging point, meaning you can both get away from it all and relax, knowing your car can be re-charged over night! Orchard Barn has a private outdoor space with a dining table and gas bbq all ready for you to spark up. By installing a king-size double and a bunk bed in the second bedroom, we think it’s ideal for a romantic getaway, family holidays or an active break.
Situated in the picturesque and peaceful Corvedale, we love the variety of gentle and hilly walking or cycling on offer locally: the Three Castles walking route is right on our doorstep, the Brown Clee Hills are nearby and there’s more to choose from in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills. In the local area, there’s lots to do if you want to wander around market towns with independent shops, explore the industrial heritage of Telford, clamber over the ruins of local castles or meander around beautiful gardens & nurseries.
We hope you’ll love Orchard Barn as much as we do and really look forward to welcoming you to this magical spot!

We’re located in the peaceful and picturesque Corvedale. Pretty little villages, traditional pubs and local nurseries can be reached via quiet lanes, bridlepaths and footpaths each weaving their way through the farming landscape.
We’re centrally situated for walking or cycling in the South Shropshire Hills and it’s really easy to reach the Wenlock Edge and Brown Clee Hills from Orchard Barn. A short car journey enables you to reach the Clun Valley, Stiperstones, Long Mynd and Caer Caradoc – just a few of the highlights in the area.
The medieval town of Ludlow is just 8 miles away. With a lively and friendly feel, it will entice you in to its many cafes, bars and restaurants. It has a great selection of independent shops whether you’re after food, clothing, art, books or antiques. Ludlow Castle acts as the backdrop to the many festivals, fairs and carnivals in the town and the Ludlow Assembly Rooms host cinema, music & drama.
